I have enjoyed teaching Roby High School students since 1991.
Teaching teenagers keeps me young because of their energy, enthusiasm, and idealism.
I try to make my lessons "kid-friendly" by incorporating multimedia experiences everyday. My students enjoy computer-displayed graphics and slide shows as well as audio selections from my eclectic database of music.
In addition, as a reward for good work and good behavior (by ME as well as my students), we enjoy brief interludes of raucous sessions of hacky sack--right in the middle of the classroom! Music with a strong beat delivers a double treat!
In short, my classroom atmosphere and teaching methods are directed to entice teens to learn in a way that is fun for all of us!
