Students use the Internet to locate historical background facts, statistics, charts, graphs, and visuals regarding the discovery, development, and commercial production of electricity.
The production methods researched include the burning of oil, gas, and biomass; hydroelectric; nuclear; geothermal; and wind turbine.
Students copy and paste information along with
URLs into created
Microsoft Word documents. Students then export their files to
jump drives or
floppy disks to enable teacher to evaluate digitally by highlighting pertinent and useful information.
