I have lived in Roby most of my life. I graduated from Roby in 1986 and from Angelo State University in 1990. I first taught in Merkel for 2 years then I moved back to Roby with my family. I have taught Kindergarten, 4th grade, 5th grade, and presently I am teaching 2nd grade. This is my 13th year to be teaching. I am married to Scott Stevenson. He grew up in McCaulley and also attended ASU. We have 3 boys.
I have 10 students in my class. There are 19 total second grade students. I have 6 boys and 4 girls. I have one ESL student and the rest are regular ed. This is a bright class and I am fortunate to be teaching with these students. I teach the Saxon Phonics, Saxon Math, The Shurley Method, and the McGraw-Hill Reading Series. This is my 6th year to be teaching this grade level.
